Sam Billin, P.E.
Sam Billin founded Linkan Engineering in 2012, with the goal of helping industrial and municipal entities to maintain their legal and ethical responsibilities to their shareholders, governing agencies, and the community as a whole. His 25 year plus career has taken him all over the world and given him experience implementing both conventional and state-of-the- art technology solutions to water resource management and treatment. Today, Sam leads the Linkan Engineering team in focusing on mine water treatment scoping, design, construction and operation. His broad range of mine water treatment design affords any project unique insights in both conventional and innovative, cost-saving alternatives
David Hollinger, P.E.
David brings more than 15 years of engineering experience in civil, water and wastewater, mechanical and building infrastructure ranging from new and re-fitted pump stations, pipelines, treatment plants, expansions and modifications, SCADA systems and hydraulic modeling, to land development design for master planned communities. He is an experienced project manager with skills in design management, construction bid phase services, construction management and administration, and startup and commissioning, His engineering design experience includes senior engineer responsibilities leading multi-discipline design teams and sub-consultants.
Jason Wheeler, EIT
Jason is a design ,degreed Chemical Engineer. He provides key support in the testing, design and operation of mine water treatment processes. He provides detailed mass balance projection for solids separation and water treatment projects. He specializes in designs and operates process piping, pumps and equipment. He generates process equipment and instrumentation lists and coordinates materials specification and procurement.
Scott is Linkan’s senior process engineer and chemist with 20 plus years of technical experience working in exacting environments; with over 7 years of working in the field of water treatment. This experience includes water treatment plant (WTP) conceptualization, design, costing, construction oversight, commissioning and operations. He is also highly experienced in laboratory and industrial chemistry, as well as process engineering. He has extensive experience in modeling membrane filtration, ion exchange, sand filtration, carbon filtration, and arsenic removal systems.
